Preliminary draft — requires legal review
ShadowTek Solutions Inc. (“ShadowTek”, “we”, “us”), operating as ListLab, respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial law.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details you provide: name, email, phone number and brokerage.
- Property details you provide for a booking or staging request, such as address, property type and size.
- Photos you submit for editing or staging, and the images we create from them.
- Records of your communication preferences and consents.
- Limited technical information needed to operate and secure the website (for example, a hashed IP address used for rate limiting and abuse prevention).
2. How we use it
- To respond to inquiries, prepare estimates, and arrange and deliver services you request.
- To send transactional messages about your request or order.
- To send marketing messages only if you have separately opted in. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- To protect our website and customers against fraud and abuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
3. Consent
We collect personal information with your knowledge and consent. Marketing consent is always optional, separate from your request, and never pre-selected. Commercial electronic messages we send comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and include a way to unsubscribe.
4. Photos and property information
Photos you submit are stored privately and used only to provide the services you requested. We do not publish your photos or the images we create from them in our portfolio without your written permission.
5. Service providers
We use trusted providers to operate the website and our services, such as website hosting, database and storage, transactional email and (in future) payment processing. These providers may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, and are bound by contractual obligations to protect it.
6. Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege access for staff and systems.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Contact our privacy officer at hello@listlab.ca. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
